5 hãng xe Đức bị cáo buộc thông đồng gian lận khí thải

Theo thông tin từ Autocar, mới đâycác quan chức từ Liên minh châu Âu đã mở cuộc điều tra sau khi một cựu nhân viên của “ông lớn bê bối” Volkswagen (VW) đưa ra bằng chứng về việc 5 hãng xe nói trên hợp tác để phát triển những thiết bị có khả năng giúp động cơ diesel gian lận khí thải.

Báo cáo chỉ ra rằng, 5 hãng xe trên đã tạo ra những tiêu chuẩn và chia sẻ bí quyết điều chỉnh phẩn mềm nhằm qua mặt các quy trình thử nghiệm.

Cũng theo khẳng định của người này, các cuộc thảo luận diễn ra từ những năm 90 và đã có một cuộc họp kín với sự tham gia của khoảng 200 thành viên đến từ các nhà sản xuất bên lề Paris Motor Show 2010.

Mặc dù chưa rõ kết quả cuộc điều tra sẽ ra sao nhưng nếu đúng như những lời tố cáo thì đây sẽ là một trong những bê bối lớn nhất từng xảy ra trong ngành công nghiệp ô tô. Hiện tại, những tên tuổi như Volkswagen, Porsche và Audi đều đã thừa nhận về việc sử dụng thiết bị “đặc biệt”. Còn Mercedes và BMW chưa lên tiếng. Nhưng cách đây không lâu, Mercedes-Benz cũng thông báo triệu hồi tự nguyện 3 triệu phương tiện để xử lý một vấn đề liên quan đến phần mềm trên các xe diesel của hãng.
