Tiguan dẫn đầu mức tăng trưởng của Volkswagen tại Trung Quốc
Nửa đầu năm 2017, Volkswagen bán ra 1.83 triệu xe tại Trung Quốc đại lục và Đặc khu hành chính Hồng Kông, giảm 1.6% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái. Song, doanh số tháng 6 của Volkswagen lại đạt trên 315.000 chiếc, tăng 5.2%.
Tuy doanh số chung giảm nhưng mức tiêu thụ xe sang của Volkswagen vẫn khá cao. Trong 6 tháng đầu năm 2017, dòng xe sang của Volkswagen bán được gần 1.4 triệu chiếc. Các mẫu xe thể thao đa dụng tiếp tục tăng trưởng cao. Trong đó, Tiguan tăng 39% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái.
Ngoài ra, một thương hiệu khác thuộc Volkswagen là Audi lại có doanh số giảm 12.2% xuống còn 254.800 chiếc. Skoda cũng giảm 8.1%
Ngược lại với Volkswagen, Porsche vẫn tăng cao với doanh số đạt 17.8%, khoảng 35.900 chiếc được bán ra.
Mặc dù có giảm có tăng nhưng các chuyên gia cho rằng, doanh số của 3 thương hiệu trên vẫn sẽ tiếp tục tăng tại thị trường Trung Quốc do nhu cầu về xe sang ở đây rất lớn.
Được biết, Volkswagen là tập đoàn xe hơi lớn nhất của châu Âu với 12 thương hiệu, có thể kể đến những cái tên đình đám như Audi, Lamborghini và Bentley. Ông lớn về xe hơi của Đức đang có mặt tại 153 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ. Tính đến cuối năm 2016, Volkswagen có đến 120 nhà máy sản xuất và lắp ráp ô tô trên toàn cầu.
